Google is broadening its Gemini line-up. The company officially released Gemini 3.5 Flash, a faster, lighter model, while signalling that a more powerful Gemini 3.5 Pro is on the way.
Enterprise agents
Google Cloud also expanded its Gemini Enterprise portfolio, introducing a unified, end-to-end platform for building, orchestrating and governing AI agents. The push targets businesses looking to deploy autonomous agents across workflows with the controls and governance that enterprises require.
Competitive pressure
The releases come as Google competes hard with OpenAI and Anthropic across both consumer and enterprise AI — and as Gemini powers high-profile integrations, including a default role in Apple Intelligence. With Gemini 3.5 Pro expected soon, Google is racing to keep pace at the frontier while scaling distribution.
