Nvidia has unveiled Rubin, the next generation of its AI computing platform, headlined by six new chips and a powerful AI supercomputer designed for the global AI factory buildout.
A full platform
Rather than a single chip, Rubin is a complete platform spanning multiple processors that work together to train and run the largest AI models. Nvidia is positioning it as the engine for the next wave of data-center AI as demand for compute continues to surge.
Building the AI factory
The launch underscores Nvidia's strategy of selling integrated systems — chips, networking and software — rather than standalone parts. As cloud providers and enterprises race to expand AI infrastructure, Rubin is aimed squarely at the operators building gigawatt-scale AI data centres.
The platform extends Nvidia's lead in AI accelerators at a time when rivals are racing to catch up.
