Samsung has started rolling out its June 2026 security update for Galaxy devices, addressing a substantial batch of security flaws.
What's fixed
The update patches 45 total vulnerabilities, of which 33 are classified as "high" or "critical" severity. The fixes span the Android operating system and Samsung's own components, closing holes that could be exploited to compromise devices.
Who gets it
The rollout is reaching a wide list of Galaxy phones and tablets, with newer flagship models typically receiving the patch first before it expands to mid-range and older supported devices. Users are advised to install the update promptly from Settings once it appears on their device.
Monthly security patches remain one of the simplest and most effective defences against known exploits, and the high count of critical fixes makes this month's update one worth applying without delay.
