Supreme Court enters final stretch with major cases still to decide

The US Supreme Court is in the final stretch of its term, with several high-stakes cases still awaiting decisions before the justices break for their summer recess.

What's still pending

Among the major cases left are President Trump's attempt to end birthright citizenship, challenges over campaign finance limits, disputes about mail-in ballots, and multiple Second Amendment questions. The outcomes could reshape constitutional law across immigration, elections and gun rights.

Recent rulings

The Court has already handed down a series of decisions in June, including FCC v. AT&T, which held that the FCC may issue forfeiture orders without a jury, and rulings on venue in falsification cases and bankruptcy estoppel. The Court is next expected to release opinions on Thursday, June 18.

The remaining decisions are likely to land in the coming weeks as the term winds down.
